I put my boat up for sale on Craigslist and received 2 responses that were very similar. Has to be a scam so I thought I would share with you. Your blog is great.....I wish there was a way to stop all this garbage. Its a sad world that we live in these days, cant trust anyone that wont come shake your hand. Please feel free to add these two responses to your blog, maybe it will help someone from falling into whatever trap these people are trying to set. Just curious...what are they trying to gain from this type of transaction?

I just received the same as mentioned above from Paul Rubin. Just Google "Craigslist Paul Rubin", or whoever else you get a response that wants you to setup a Paypal Account.

May I know what is the point of this scam? Im not sure I understand why do they need us to set paypal accounts. What do they need them for?

She must be the best daughter ever, to buy all that stuff for dear ol dad.
Paul Rubin (paulrubin15@gmail.com) strikes again! He sent my dad quite a few text messages about a Harley we listed on Craigslist. Once my dad caught on to his scam, Paul began emailing me. Didn't take too long to realize it was the same man that was textinig my dad. Here is what he said:

Same stupid response for me, too. Got it today, 12/17/12. The story, the off punctuation, etc gave it away for me. And an Oceanist (whatever that is)would sound more educated. I'd love to sell me item, but I'm not falling for this crap. It's all too familiar these days. The name for mine was from a MONICA WESLEY. Beware.
