Scammer Uses Alias "Brian Anderson"

Reader thinks a Brian Anderson posing as Red Bull Hiring Manager is a scammer. Note the several email addresses. It's also funny because the address they give, Kiest blvd, shows the picture of a run-down house on Google.com/maps, which you can see here:

Hi
Thanks for your mail, I am glad the item is still for sale and i am okay with the price $300 and i'll be willing to offer you $400. So, I would want you to keep all other buyer's off and also delete the advert from the website. Concerning payment i will have my colleague issue a certified check. I will therefore need the following information before payment can be sent (Full Name, Full Address, Phone Number).

moreover , i want you to know that my client will have to send a check of $2,900 for my shipping agent and the item So all u have to do is to Receive the check which will come through Usps Or fed ex Courier service and get it cashed or deposited , when it clears then you deduct the amount for the item and send the rest of the money to my shipping company via western union , so as soon as this money is been sent to them they will contact you on how to make arrangement for pick-up.

Get back to me and let me know if u understand all of the process and if it's all you can handle for me?

Thanks and God bless
Brian.

So what happeed with this transactio on Craigs list? I have a bank check for $11,000 from Brian for a posting I put up selling my VW. I havent made it to the bank yet to have it verified. These days one can never be too careful. My listing asked for $7,900. Of course I find it odd for someone to buy a car, especially at this price without even seeing it OR driving it.
