I have gotten two emails similar to this since I posted a tutoring ad on Craigslist.
The first email was sent by "Ceceilia Roberts" who wanted me to take care and teach her 15 year old son "son Eric". She said not to worry about arrangements because "Eric" has a "nanny" (what 15 year old kid has a nanny?! :/) I kind of believed the thing and became suspicious when she told me to use money packs and deduct money from the bank for a check she was sending me since it mine and the nanny's money on it, and what really got to me was when she asked me to pick up her son and his nanny at the airport LOL!! Knew then not to deal with the bogus.
Second email I received was from "Frank Ryan" who was moving to my area from the UK as he signed a contract with the Environmental Protection Agency and wanted me to take care of his 16 year old daughter "Mary". Seemed believable but shortly after I began to be suspicious of the first email, he also wrote a similar email saying he made a mistake on the check and wanted me to deduct money using Western Union and send the remaining money to him..suspicious enough?
Anyway, I reported it to the Federal Consumer Agency..all settled now and thank god I figured this business out before I become responsible and be convicted of a crime!
