Thanks for your response, I am quite okay with your price, I need you
to understand that I am willing and ready to purchase it right away,
put it off the AD site, consider me as your favorite buyer, and Please
note that I have a shipper/mover who handles my shipping arrangement
anywhere in the world,he would be coming for the pickup, after you
have received payment, which would be through paypal, If this is
acceptable, advice soon as I am an hydrographer and I am buying this
for my son,I am at work right now .I can only pay through pay pal at
the moment as I do not have access to my bank account online, but I
have it attached to my pay pal account, and this is why I insisted on
using pay pal to pay,all I will need is your paypal email address to
make the payments, and if you do not have a pay pal account yet,its
pretty easy to set one up at www.paypal.com,i will be expecting your
email.I have a pick up agent that will come for the pick up after
payments has been sorted. I want you to provide me with the following
information for me to proceed with the Payment...

I received this exact same crappy form letter in regards to a camper that I have listed on Craig's List.
I reported the scam to PayPal as well, so hopefully they'll be able to help prevent future attempts.
Hello everyone....I have been through the same thing..or I should say going through it NOW! I just happened to google the name and address and this is what came up. I hard a gut feeling something was wrong. I know the FBI has a site we can go on and report something like this. I'm going to be looking in to this, asap so we all can feel better about a person out there trying to steal hard earned money from honest people. I know I'm a signal parent and can't believe someone would do this. so lets all band together!
He even makes a Paypal website look real...here's one of the ones I've got..
Dear fairydevil3703@yahoo.com
You have received a PayPal Payment of $2,900.00 USD from Kareem Keeney (keeney09kareem@gmail.com).
A temporary hold has been placed on this transaction!
As mentioned in the receipt of Payment and as per New PayPal Payment policy, we have fully debited the total amount (above) from the buyer's account which includes the buyer's shipper's pick up fees.
In order to complete this transaction and get the funds approved in your account. We advice you go to nearest Western Union Office, and send the $600.00 USD to the Agent and send us a Scanned Copy/Photograph of your Western Union Transaction Receipt (in .JPG Format).
PLEASE DON'T SEND ANY MONEY!
And by the way what is PayPal doing about this?, anyone know?
My boyfriend is selling our NON-working vehicle on craigslist and this is the offer he got. He said it looked fishy to him, so I googled it. Surprise, surprise, this dude's email addy popped up on 4 scam sites. I will be posting this message to all the websites I found, in case it might help.

Thanks to everyone out there who is trying to stop these scammers
The Person(s) who are attempting this SCAM are NOT really named: Larry Twist, Victor Quincy Jackson, or Kareem Keeny... They very seldom will actually give you a name, they just keep sending you emails with some fake name on it.
DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY... IT IS A SCAM...
I have received this same exact sequence of emails for an item that I am selling on Craigslist and I knew immediately that it was a Nigerian 419 SCAM. They almost all have the same type of scenario. They offer to purchase something from you and then they falsely claim to have sent you more money than your item was listed for and then they ask you to send the remaining balance to some shipping Company. It is ALL a SCAM... Take a look at the actual documents that they have sent to you. They look very original, but they are FAKE. You can notice many spelling and grammatical errors in their documents. It is good and it will fool many people but don't let it fool you.
This is a very common "Nigerian 419 SCAM"...
They claim to send you money to your PaPal Account and they even send you several e-mails that look like they come from PayPal.com They DO NOT come from PayPal.
If you look at the email you will notice that up next to where it shows that it is an email coming from PayPal, you will see another email address listed. That is the true email that this fake PayPal email came from.
The point of the SCAM is that they try to convince you that money was actually sent to your PayPal Account and try to get you to immediately send them money VIA Western Union. If you log into the real PayPal.com website, you can see that there has NOT been any deposit into your Account.
ONCE YOU SEND MONEY VIA WESTERN UNION YOU CAN CONSIDER IT OGNE FOREVER...
Please People, whenever you are asked to send money VIA Western Union, you can bet that it is a SCAM...
Please verify with the real PayPal any transactions that people claim to make. If they are asking you to send the remaining balance to a shipping company, then you can almost be guaranteed that it is a SCAM...
Look very closely at the emails that are sent to you, as they have many spelling and grammatical mistakes in them...
Always, Always, Always be extra careful when buying or selling anything on Craigslist or any other Internet site.
Good Luck
I got an email on a car I had on craigslist, he said that he'd be willing to pay the full price, wanted me to take the ad down, and tell others that it was sold. He also said that he wants to pay as soon as possible. I received 3 emails around 3 am that appeared like they came from paypal, but when I hovered over service@paypal.com, the email showed as quickresponseteam@secureroot.com. One of the emails said that a hold will be placed on this payment until I sent the $1000 for a western union transfer, then my account would be credited with $8600, which is $1100 more than I asked for the car in the first place. Seems like a pretty common thing
