Chris Bond Uses Others Email Addresses

One reader of this blog received email from Chris Bond, who used a number of different email addresses as you'll see in the following notes with a reader:

I am egging him on right now - these guys are way too much fun to play with. He sent me a check for $2500. The check looks legit and the bank says it looks good. But, this is a scam. Somehow, it won't go through and I would be screwed out of ~$1900 dollars.

Please, don't fall for this. This is so obvious. Who would send me a check for $2500 for a $500 couch?

After I sent it, it dawned on me that, there was too much drama with the whole transaction, it sounds like a scam, so I typed in Chris Bond Scam and this came up, and after reading all the letters I got furious and wrote him back a very nasty letter letting him know to stay far away and to never ever contact me again! This kind of stuff is so upsetting. I actually did take my ad off of Craig's List, like a fool. Thanks for having this website so people are aware. Do you know what kind of scam he is pulling? I had a weird feeling but I sent him my info.

His response a few days later:
How are you doing? I want you to understand that the deal is on as my secretary has posted the payment already, but there was a slight error i guess we can handle with care, instead of the actual amount for the couch, she made out the payment for $1500 she claimed that was what i requested but she didn't get that straight. So once you have the check please cash it and deduct the money for the couch. The excess fund should please be sent to my mover via western union,this fund will be use for pick up and delivery of the item and in offsetting the cost of the shipment he has undertaken for me
recently.

After I received the 2 money orders today for $950 each I recorded video just showing the money orders. 1 money order I recorded being flushed and 1 money order I put in the sink garbage disposal. Then I emailed the 2 videos to this person along with some strong feelings of anger towards them telling them I counter scammed them.

He was unable to provide a phone number where I could contact him. I toyed with scammer #1 and eventually got a $2500 check. It was a business check, from "adbrite" of san francisco. Bank is silicon valley bank of Pittsbough PA. I've contacted adbrite for verification of the # number and legitimacy. Of course it won't verify unless adbrite is part of the scam. The fedex package had a return address of 2301 patriot blvd glenview il, which is a wire and cable company, ANIXTER INTERNATIONAL INC. They've issued a statement that their address is being used by scammers. I was to wire the money for the movers to a mobile AL address which doesn't really exist. I looked it up on google maps and the address sits between two businesses, neither of which is a mover. If you don't have an account with PayPal at the moment it is very easy to set up. Visit there site (www.PayPal.com.us) and get it set up. After this is done all i will be needing to make this payment is your PayPal email which you have used for registration with PayPal so as to put the money through.

I would have love to come for the viewing but due to my work frame that might not be possible,but if you have more pics i might want to have a good look.
